Frequently asked questions
First time applicants for a Barbados Passport will need to submit the following documents with their fully completed Application Form:
  - Applicant Birth Certificate
 
  - Barbados Identification Card
 
  - Passport Application Form (certified by a person from among those indicated on the form)
 
  - Passport Application Fee (as applicable)
 
  - 2 passport size photos (one photo certified)
 
  - Barbados Citizenship Certificate (if applicable)
 
  - Marriage certificate (if applicable)
 
  - Divorce document (if applicable)
 
  - Original document to substantiate a subsequent applicant name change
 
Lost your Passport?
Lost passport applicants are required to bring a lost report from the police in addition to the documents and fee payable one submits when applying for a new passport. Replacement fee in this instance is $300.
Stolen passport?
Applicants are required to bring a Police Statement from the police, in addition to the documents required when one is applying for a new passport. Replacement fee in this instance is $300.
Damaged passport?
Where your passport is damaged and needs replacement, the replacement fee is $300.
House fire applicants?
Where your passport is destroyed in a house fire, you are required to bring a fire statement from the Fire Service Department, in addition to the documents required when one applying for a new passport. Replacement fee in this instance is $150.
Are you applying to renew your Barbados passport?
Where applying to renew your passport, you must supply the following along with the $150 fee:
  - Your old Barbados Passport
 
  - Barbados Identification Card
 
  - Passport Application Form (certified by a persons from among those listed on the form)
 
  - Passport Application Fee
 
  - 2 passport size photos (one photo certified)
 
  - Barbados citizenship certificate (if applicable)
 
  - Marriage certificate (if applicable)
 
  - Divorce document (if applicable)
 
  - Original document to substantiate any name change
