This Regulation prescribes: the types of programs, supplies equipment and care the Minister may provide; the responsibilities of a regional health authority respecting communicable diseases; the notifications required respecting communicable diseases; and the duties and functions of the medical officer of health. It restricts the sale of certain types of turtles, prescribes the sale of certain birds; and lists the notifiable communicable diseases, notifiable sexually transmitted communicable diseases and those communicable diseases for which a certificate, isolation order, or warrant, for examination may be issued. It also addresses Investigation of Contacts and Source of Infection, Isolation Procedures, Quarantine and Special Measures.
